You don’t run a marathon on your own. You run it with the support of others.
You run it with stronger people lifting you up. You run it on the shoulders of those around you.
You run it with people who make you believe. You run it because of them.
You run it with people in your mind and in your heart all the way. You have people willing you on all the way.
You run it inspired by those faces, those cheers, that support. You put your feet down one by one, but they give you that energy to keep doing it.
Today is the one year anniversary of my fifth and final marathon. I would like to once again say a really big thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey.
Friends, family, acquaintances, random strangers, and running friends who have helped me along the way, who have ran in with me, non-running friends who may not quite get the madness of marathons but still will me on, and others who have helped in so many different ways.
Thank you to everyone who has been on those marathon journeys with me.
You’re all massive heroes in this world we live in and it is through this selfless support that others like me could ever dream of.
Thank you so much and you are all dream enablers through your support.
