We live in a world where many people are judgmental rather than curious. People see what they want to see. They often don’t dig to see beneath what they’ve already decided.
When we encounter people like this, we need to remember that what they don’t see isn’t our fault. It is on them, and not a reflection on who we are.
The kind of people I know and respect, they dig deep, they pay interest, they see people for who they are. They get to see things properly.
